My Biggest Tips for Attending the Eras Tour

My Biggest Tips for Attending the Eras Tour

I still cannot believe that I get to write this… this past Friday, June 21st, 2024, I went to the freaking ERAS TOUR in London! I have to start by giving my friend Stacey the biggest shoutout because without her, I wouldn’t have been able to attend this incredible concert and making my little Swiftie dreams come true at My Biggest Tips for Attending the Eras Tour.

Now, let’s talk about some of my top take aways from this concert – from what you really need (hint: it’s actually not as much as you think), to sharing my outfit details, and more!

Must-Have Items

Let’s start with some of the most important pieces of information (in my humble opinion), and that is what are must-have items that you definitely need to have with you when you attend the Eras Tour. As I mentioned above, I don’t really think you actually need that much. I’ve seen people give lists of 10+ items, but really, mine is about 5 items long, and a couple of them are going to be dependant on your venue, and outfit at My Biggest Tips for Attending the Eras Tour!

Loop Earplugs: If you value your hearing at all, these are a non-negotiable. The older I get, the more I think about how much I don’t want to ruin my hearing! The earplugs made it that I could hear Taylor more clearly & it drowned out a lot of the cheering and screaming around us. In fact, it sounded quiet when people were cheering with them in & when I took them out to compare, I was SHOCKED. The only downside of these is you can definitely hear yourself singing more clearly than if you aren’t wearing any earplugs at My Biggest Tips for Attending the Eras Tour.

Foldable Flats: Planning to wear cowboy boots (like I did!), or heels? Just do yourself a favour, and bring a pair of foldable flats to throw in your bag. They’re small, and you will thank yourself after 3+ hours of standing & dancing. I even put insoles in my boots, and it wasn’t enough to save my feet from extreme pain.

Battery Bank & Cable: This may seem obvious, I know, but bring your battery bank & a cable, I promise you’re going to need it. I charged my phone to 100% before I left for the concert, and needed to plug in about half way through. Just check what size of battery bank you can bring with your venue at My Biggest Tips for Attending the Eras Tour!

Phone Bracelet or Crossbody: Let me tell you, having my phone on a little bracelet that I could quickly record and/or take photos, and then just drop and not worry about my phone being placed properly in my bag was amazing! Plus, it’ll help you keep a hold of your phone while working through big crowds at My Biggest Tips for Attending the Eras Tour.

Buy Water!: Don’t think you’re going to make it through 3+ hours of singing and dancing without getting some water, and stay hydrated, especially if you’re going to a summer show. It gets hot, you’re exerting a lot of energy and you need to stay hydrated. What I personally did was go to the washroom before I went to the venue, and made sure I drank a Liquid IV in the morning, and I was able to sip on water throughout the concert without needing to run to the washroom at My Biggest Tips for Attending the Eras Tour.

And by the way… I’m going out tonight

I figured why not share my costume details with the many folks I know are looking for ideas for the remaining 2024 performances! I dressed like a mirrorball from folklore because I wanted to seem dazzling and because it’s my favorite record! I observed a lot of people sporting a disco ball t-shirt and sequin skirt that matched this theme, so if my look inspired you too, here are the specifics at My Biggest Tips for Seeing the Eras Tour:

So make the friendship bracelets

When it comes to friendship bracelets, I only ended up making about 40, and let me tell you, that was more than enough. I ended up trading about 3/4 of my bracelets, so don’t let the TikTok’s people share of their 100+ bracelets make you think you need to do the same. It’s a fun experience, but I went to a show with over 88,000 people and only ended up trading about 30 of them – you really do not need that many, so I would highly recommend getting a few bead kits and splitting them with friends and making 20-40. Here are the ones I ordered at My Biggest Tips for Attending the Eras Tour:

For all of those attending the Eras Tour later this year, have the absolute best time! I hope this little blog post helped answer some questions you may have had before your show, and if you have any other questions, drop them in the comments below!
